As I have already mentioned few times here on my blog, I am a big fan of Emerson Fry! See here...
I have a pair of beautiful super comfy pointy black pumps and a stunning Indian dress from her. So I am beyond excited to see a snapshot of her fall collection!
I probably will do a full-blown post on my favorite items, but today I can't resist to share at least one of my cravings... I love military inspired clothing. And this green coat is definitely my style. The 'sad' thing I already invested $$ into a military-inspired Burberry coat only few months ago...Here... Hence I probably will not be able to justify another coat purchase. But one never knows... Fingers crossed; the prices have not been released yet!
YES OR NO? What do you think?
Check out my older post about Emerson Fry! She truly is a great inspiration. Click here...

Thursday inspirations... Ines De La Gressange
My today's Thursday inspiration post is about one person, the beautiful Ines De La Fressange & her blazers (the recurring pattern in my wardrobe). I adore her attention to detail, her simplicity and an amazing choice of accessories...

Tuesday's craving
Today's work day has been quite long, yet again. I truly can't wait for the busy season to be over (mid-October). On the bright side I did get to enjoy some shopping and friends time this weekend.
And as it is getting late, I am going to keep today Tuesday's craving sweet and simple.
I. I have not been into the floral-pants craze, but this dress could be a great compromise! My best friend just announced her engagement and this would be a perfect dress for her sunny wedding. The problem is that I have somewhat of a problem wearing strapless dresses. Maybe if I can find the perfect bra! Is not the dress gorgeous?
II. And this heels would go with it! They are quite reasonably prized... What do you think? Do I have the perfect wedding outfit?

Alexander Wang...
Marie Claire, in their newest issue, featured amazing Alexander Wang's booties. I am looking for them online - so far in vain, but have collected a long list of Alexander Wang's items I am loving. I adore his aestheticks, urban and edgy style... Very much my taste. I am planning a bag purchase next year. It might be Alexander Wang!

Thursday inspirations...
Work has been taking over my life. As I spend countless hours in front of a computer screen, I ponder where the time goes and how best to spend it! Time is really becoming the most precious commodity. I do cherish every free moment...
Maybe I am in need of high fashion and some sparkles in my life. This weekend I am finally getting out and spending time with friends. I want to have a brunch and do little bit of shopping at a great boutique, Heritage Row. And in the evening glass of wine at a fun wine bar, Amelie.
Hence my few choices for today's Thursday inspirations are more on the luxurious side as they do make me dream... Beautiful dress (I am quite obsessed with the one Kate Moss is wearing - see below!), killer heals... or maybe I just need to beautify my desk little bit (see the last image :))... hmmm...
How do you cope with insane amount of work-load??

Jean Paul Gaultier
I finally got to see the Jean Paul Gautier's exhibition at the the Young Museum in San Francisco. While fighting crowds as everyone was trying to take the last peaks of the exhibition (it's over!), it was well worth it.
The exhibition was full of signature Gautier's creations: Madonna's corsets, stripped shirts, male manikins dressed in elaborately embroidered long skirts, high heels, sexually charged outfits, cross-dressing and photographs documenting the amazingly creative and bold spirit of Jean Paul Gautier. Quite the experience...
And out of curiosity I looked up what Gaultier has been up to lately. Many of the movites captured in the exhibition are well alive in his current collections: stripes, power blazers, corsets, flowery shoes... He indeed is an amazing designer.

Thursday inspirations...
An exquisite fashion taste often lies in ability to pick pieces that are unique in their stylistic approach.
Asymmetrical cuts can make such a bold and stylish statement and all the below fashion inspirations are examples of this.
I'd love to have any of these incredible pieces!

Tuesday cravings...
Today it's short and sweet. My best friend is moving to LA from San Francisco, so we had a little farewell diner. How sad! Well, I will be visiting LA soon...
1. Allsaints sweater. I like the contrast arms for an edgy look.
2. Collectors lockers: according to the website each locker is estimated to date anywhere from the early 1900s to 1940s. Could that be true? How magical!
3. I love blue undertones & big bracelets. Hmm.. does this look too rustic?
4. I love these little earrings...
5. I really do need more dresses that I can wear from work to happy hours. Hmmm.. what about this one? It's only $49!

New purchases...
My new purchases:
1. Sometimes $10 can go a long long away. I got a perfect pair of jeans for the mere $10 (+shipping)(maybe the shipping cost was more then the actual jeans). When I saw them on Anh from 9to5 blog, I thought what the heck... "She looks great in them and if they don't fit me, I am sure for $10 I can use them for something!" And they are actually great.. I was thinking to spend couple hundred dollars on perfect jeans, but am going to hold on on that purchase. These jeans will get me through for now just perfectly...
Buy here...$10.80 @ Forever21
2. Little sparkles anyone? It does not come through perfectly in the picture, but this sweater has them. It's so comfy, yet the sparkles add extra luxury to the sweater. It's perfect for hot summer nights and leisure brunches... Buy here...
3. Not long ago I did posting about how much I need a perfect brown belt. I found one! The belt reminds me of this image. Well, not completely identical, but the double buckle idea is there...Buy $89.50 @ Club Monaco.

Bae Bien-U's photographs...
I've been completely mesmerized by the Phantom of Asia exhibition at the Asian Art museum. It's almost coming to an end, but I think my boyfriend and I got a great advantage of it: we might have been at least five times.
The whole idea was to pair contemporary Asian art with old pieces. The Asian Art museum has an incredible Asian antiques art collection. For example today I found an incredibly beautiful 6000 year old Islamic vase on display. So just imagine in between these pieces, like little pieces of treasures, smartly implanted, are contemporary paintings, statutes and photographs.
Today Bae Bein-U captured my attention and I am just finding out more about him. He is an established Korean photographer famous, among others, for his pine trees photography. And when he was asked if he knew of anyone else in Korean photography that would merit his status, he replied 'not yet!" :-) well, success has lots to do with confidence in one's abilities. He is over 60 and I am sure he knows what he is talking about...
