Coco Chanel & pearls necklaces...

I just finished watching a movie: "Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky." The movie portrays an affair between Coco and married Stravinsky set exactly in the year when Coco introduced her perfume No. 5 - 1920. I am searching and searching but the whole affair seems just like an illicit rumor.  Unfortunately it looks like we are never to find out whether anything ever happened between these two extraordinary personalities. After all thhe whole plot is based on a fiction book by Chris Greenhalg, Coco & Igor.

I find the movie ascetically stunning and (as no surprise) Coco's costumes are incredible. They were designed by Chattoune & Fab and had to be approved by Channel. Lagerfeld collaborated and it shows! Do you need more of an incentive to want to watch this movie? Coco is played by the beautiful Anna Mouglalis (I am thinking to research her style and do a post about it. She truly is a stunner!) In the movie Coco is all about blazers and seems to pair a long pearl necklace with almost each and every single dress!  I love it! I don't own one, but have been in love with long necklaces. I lost my staple Club Monaco one and now am searching for another that I can wear with everything. Black blazer, simple white top, jeans and long subtle beautiful necklace... my kind of an outfit! What do you think?

And not to forget Stravinsky! Now I want to learn more about his movie. The movie starts with a scene of the world premiere of his "Rite of Springs" in 1913 in Paris. A riot erupted at the premier as the audience was outraged his Stravinsky's music and the choreography. Imagine!

These are no pearls, but this necklace seems quite pretty.. What do you think? Yes or no?
