I thought I scored a deal with Ann Taylor (40% off), but my excitement was over once I received the pumps. Don't get me wrong, there are pretty & a nice quality, but 3 1/2 inch is not doing it for me. I need 4" or higher... This search is embodiment of why fashion is such a love/hate relationship. One would think black is black and a pump is a pump, but alas... It's hard to weed through all the choices until you score the perfect pair! And you know once you found them from the first glance: the way they feel, the way the look, even the black suddenly has miraculous range of shades :-) Well, being on a budget makes the matter even harder: $100 to $350?
And my search continues...
1. B Brian Atwood - $326 - I love the heel that make them look different, but they are suede. I need leather!
2. Michael Kors - $195 - This pair might be the closest bet. They have the perfect heel - 4" inches!
3. Christian Dior - $660 - If the world was a fairer place, these would be mine!
4. L.A.M.B - $189.99 - I like these! See the pic below on how Olivia Palermo wore them. Little bit of twist on a classic leather pump.
